She is a global speaker and has spoken at some of the largest security technical conferences across the globe, including OWASP Global AppSec, c0c0n 2020, IOTSlam, BSides20, Rocheston Reinvent, CyberjutsuCon, SkillUpDays, and DevOps Summit. Hima is a proven strong technical leader with experience in managing global teams and delivering complex enterprise projects at scale. Hima has a unique blend of forensic and BFSI domains, security, digital investigations, endpoint security, and data privacy. She coaches teams on end-to-end project execution from initiation to closure and is a certified QRC PCI DSS Trainer and CyberArk Trustee. Hima is also a technical author, book reviewer, speaker, user group Hyderabad lead, and passionate advocate for security and forensics. Currently, Hima is serving as a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering Security, EnCase, Bricata at OpenText. She is leading Encase Forensics, Encase eDiscovery, Digital Investigation, Data Security, Cyber Security, End Point & Security Intelligence. Previously, she worked at Wells Fargo Securities as a Capital Markets Leadership/Application Architecture, where she owned, led, and implemented the Trader Desktop API, implemented and evangelized the Aegis-Secured Framework for authorization and authentication, and launched Java applications in .NET Framework for Symphony. Hima has a degree in BTech from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and has completed Core Leadership Development from HYSEA. She also holds a Whole Mind Manager Leadership certificate from Grilled Cheese Coaching & Co. Her tech stack includes DevOps, test, Jenkins, Java, and ML.
